This property is located 2 kilometers (1.24 miles) from the town plaza of Sayulita. All the homes, (a total of 12) were imported from the island of Java, and then painstakingly rebuilt in Mexico. These antique 100+ year old, carved teak homes were then combined with architectural details from Morocco, Bali, and Mexico. Casa #5 is the private home of the importers, designers and developers of Villa Bali, T.R. Lawrence and Linda O'Leary, also the owners of Nomads of Santa Fe. Sayulita has grown into one of those high-low places, where you can have a fabulous shopping experience, dine in a 5 star restaurant, or instead, have the best fish taco in the world from a cart on the street for 85 cents. Put your feet in the sand and watch some fabulous surfing - even try it yourself!
The main house, named Bali, has two air-conditioned bedrooms with queen beds, two full baths, a well equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, and a large outdoor covered patio with a bbq and fire pit.
The smaller guest house, named Madura, offers one queen bed and one twin (that substitute as a couch), dining area, mini kitchen with small refrigerator, hotplate, microwave, coffee maker and full bath. The Madura house is equipped with both ceiling and portable fans
